RockSolid is an actively managed, institutional-grade liquid vault platform for ETH-native assets, secured by audited smart contracts, with curated strategies executed by professional managers and rewards flowing back to depositors automatically.

The RockSolid rETH Vault is its flagship vault, deployed in collaboration with Rocket Pool. A professional strategy manager maximizes rETH-based returns across DeFi protocols such as Aave and Morpho (including rETH looping when funding rates are positive), and may deploy assets across mainnet and L2s. Our integration lets users deposit rETH and receive rock.rETH, an ERC-20 vault share token; yield accrues automatically via the pricePerShare parameter, so the position compounds in place with no separate reward token to claim.

The user flow:

1. Deposit: Users deposit rETH and receive rock.rETH shares instantly.
2. Earn: Yield accrues via share-price appreciation as the strategy manager deploys the vault's assets across DeFi.
3. Request redemption: To exit, users submit an asynchronous on-chain redemption request. Their rock.rETH shares are escrowed and the position shows as an unstaking balance.
4. Settlement: The request is settled at the epoch NAV, typically within ~48–72 hours.
5. Claim: Once settled, users claim their unstaked balance to receive rETH back.

Claim (Finalize Redemption)

Withdrawals go through an asynchronous redemption queue. After a user requests a redemption, it is settled at the epoch NAV (typically within ~48–72 hours). Once settled, the balance moves to unstaked and the user finalizes it using the CLAIM_UNSTAKED pending action to receive their rETH back. Both the in-progress (unstaking) and claimable (unstaked) balances can be tracked via our /stake/balances endpoint.

Considerations

• Instant deposits, asynchronous withdrawals: Deposits mint rock.rETH immediately, but exiting is a two-step flow — submit a redemption request, then claim once it settles at the epoch NAV (~48–72 hours). While pending, the user's shares are escrowed, so the visible share balance decreases.
• One redemption request at a time: A new redemption request is rejected while an earlier request is still pending settlement. The outstanding request must settle and be claimed before another can be submitted.
• Actively managed strategy: Returns come from professionally managed DeFi strategies (e.g. Aave, Morpho, rETH looping) and can vary. The vault may deploy assets across mainnet and L2s. Boosted rETH incentives, where offered, accrue automatically to depositors pro-rata with no separate claim.
• Fees: The vault charges a management fee and a performance fee on rewards (RockSolid publishes a 1% annual AUM fee and a 10% performance fee).
• Permissionless: A whitelist exists on-chain but is not activated, so deposits are permissionless and no KYC is required.
