Our Maple Finance integration enables users to deposit USDC or USDT on Ethereum into Maple’s Syrup vaults — a liquid yield product built on top of Maple’s institutional lending markets. Depositors receive syrupUSDC or syrupUSDT, which accrue yield that is generated by Maple's digital asset lending platform that provides fixed-rate, overcollateralised loans to institutional borrowers.

In addition to the base yield, users also earn Drips, Maple’s reward incentive mechanism that distributes protocol incentives to active lenders. Withdrawals are subject to a withdrawal period of up to 30 days based on available liquidity although most withdrawals are processed in under 24 hours. Following the completion of the withdrawal action, the withdrawal stays pending until sufficient liquidity is provided after which the withdrawn assets are transferred directly to the user's address. During the withdrawal period users continue earning yield.

Considerations

• Queue-based Withdrawals: Withdrawals are processed on a first-in, first-out basis as liquidity becomes available. The assets are sent directly to the Lenders' wallet(s), not requiring them to execute another transaction. Most withdrawals are processed in under 24 hours, but could take up to 30 days during which time depositors continue to earn rewards.
• Drips Rewards Program: Maple’s Drips program distributes SYRUP tokens to users for participating in the ecosystem. Rewards accrue every 4 hours, at a base rate of 1 Drip per 1 USDC/USDT per day. Each Season lasts one quarter, with claim windows opening on the 18th of the following month. Drips can be converted into SYRUP or staked SYRUP (stSYRUP) to earn additional benefits.
