# Earn

> Find, enter, exit, and track staking, DeFi, RWA, and stablecoin yields, all described in the same format and used the same way.

Earn gives you access to more than 4,000 yield opportunities across 85+ networks and 100+ protocols. Every opportunity, whether a staking position, a lending market, or a tokenized treasury, is described in the same format and used in the same way. You find a yield, deposit with `enter`, withdraw with `exit`, use `manage` for follow-up steps such as claiming rewards, and then track the position.

## How it works

You find a yield with `GET /v1/yields`, filtered by network, token, provider, or type. Each yield carries what a UI needs to present it: the reward rate and how it breaks down, TVL, entry limits, cooldowns, fees, and the inputs each action expects. Risk ratings from third-party raters are aggregated and returned for the yields they cover.

When you request an `enter`, `exit`, or `manage` action, the Earn API returns an ordered list of unsigned transactions. You sign them with your own wallet or custody infrastructure, then either broadcast them yourself or submit them for Yield.xyz to broadcast.

For each wallet, the balances endpoints return the position by state (for example active, exiting, or claimable), the pending actions the user can take, and rewards earned. Funds stay visible from deposit to withdrawal, including while a transaction is confirming or a cooldown is running.

The loop runs on your project's enabled yields. The yield, action, and balance objects are in [Core concepts](/documentation/earn/core-concepts/index). To add a time-limited reward budget on top of a yield, see [Incentive campaigns](/documentation/earn/incentive-campaigns).
