# Maple

> Deposit USDC or USDT into Maple's Syrup vaults on Ethereum for syrupUSDC or syrupUSDT, with a queued exit.

The Maple integration deposits USDC or USDT on Ethereum into Maple's Syrup vaults, an ERC-4626 lending product. You receive syrupUSDC or syrupUSDT, an ERC-4626 share whose redemption value rises as the underlying loans pay interest.

## Availability

| Network | Input token | Position token |
| - | - | - |
| Ethereum | USDC | syrupUSDC |
| Ethereum | USDT | syrupUSDT |

List the markets enabled for your project with [`GET /v1/yields`](/api-reference/YieldsController_getYields) filtered by `providers=maple`.

## Entering

Deposits route through Maple's Syrup Router rather than a direct ERC-4626 `deposit` call. Every Syrup pool requires a lender authorization: if your address is not already an approved Syrup lender, the enter flow needs an `authorization` argument (a signed bitmap, deadline, and signature) before the router will accept the deposit. An optional `permit` argument (an EIP-2612 permit signature) can combine the token approval and the deposit into fewer steps.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Maple's pools are non-transferable, permissioned lending positions: the authorization requirement is Maple's own lender allowlist, not a Yield.xyz control.

## Exiting

Exiting calls `requestRedeem` on the pool, which queues your shares for withdrawal; it does not return USDC or USDT immediately. Maple's withdrawal manager processes the queue on a first-in, first-out basis as loans mature and liquidity becomes available. When your request clears, the underlying asset is sent directly to your address; there is no separate claim step and no pending action to submit.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Queued withdrawals can take time depending on pool liquidity. A second `requestRedeem` for a position already in the queue fails; check your position before submitting another exit.

## Rewards and position

Lending yield compounds into the syrup token's share price automatically. Maple also runs a separate Drips incentive program that accrues alongside your deposit; it has no manual claim action in this integration.

## List the live yields

Copy this request to list the Maple yields enabled for your project. Yield IDs change as markets and networks are added, so query the API rather than hardcoding them.

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.yield.xyz/v1/yields?providers=maple&limit=100" \
  -H "x-api-key: $YIELD_API_KEY"
```
